What has changed with the move to Premier Practice?

We are incorporating amenities that are not covered by insurance to give you a premier level of service.  We are also ensuring your visits will be long enough to give you the quality of care you deserve.  The most important and valuable part of any visit is the time spent talking with your provider. We are protecting that time so we may ensure you have the tools and support to live in optimal vitality and health.  Read here about the Member Benefits.

I have family members who visit, can my doctor see them?

Of course, we will be happy to care for your out-of-town family and guests. Standard office visit fees will apply.

Do I have to pay for my children? 
We have a family plan for families with children insured by parents and living as part of the family or at college.

Will I still need health insurance?

You will still need health insurance to cover office visits, hospitalization and referrals to specialists, unless you prefer to be self-pay.  Most PPO, POS, and HMO health insurance plans are compatible with your concierge membership and will continue to work as usual for office visits and regular annual physicals.  Your annual fee is for our wellness program not covered by insurance.

Can I use my Medicare?
Yes, we accept Medicare and your Part B coverage will continue to work as usual for office visits and wellness exams.  Your annual fee does not apply to Medicare covered services.

Does my insurance cover the annual fee?

No insurance does not cover the annual fee.  These are usually considered non-covered services by most insurance companies.

Does my Flexible Spending Account cover the annual fee? 

Many FSAs, HRAs, and MSAs will cover the annual fee, although you may not pay the fee with your HSA debit or credit card.  You must submit for reimbursement through your FSA claim reimbursement process.  We will provide you with a receipt should you need one for claim submission.

Is the annual fee tax deductible?

If you itemize your medical expenses on your tax returns, the fee may be deductible.  Please confirm with your tax advisor.

How much does this cost?

We’ve tried to keep our fee as affordable as possible, starting at $1,500 per person per year.  There are discounts for couples and families and TriCare patients also receive a substantial discount.

Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied?

If you terminate as a member before receiving your annual wellness services, we will consider a pro-rated refund.  If any services have been received, the fee is non-refundable.  We will be doing our best to assure your satisfaction, so we doubt this will be a frequent discussion!
